Welcome to Spanish I. In this class, throughout the year, students will learn the basic functional skills in Spanish. This class has two main objectives: (1.) students will develop the four major skills of Spanish: reading, writing, listening and speaking; (2.) students will explore important aspects of culture and society in various Spanish speaking countries. At the end of the year, you will be able to hold practical conversations in Spanish and you will have gained a deeper knowledge of the differences between cultures.
